Once the house's old workshop, the Courtyard Cottage is now a bright, self-contained place to settle in. Honey-coloured stone, terracotta floors and pale linen keep the rooms cool and simple, with French doors opening straight onto the courtyard.
There are two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and one with two singles. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a dining table for four, while the kitchen has everything for an easy supper: a hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker. The shared bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Outside, your own table sits beneath the vine. Have breakfast there, spread out a market lunch or stay up for one more glass as the courtyard lights come on. The garden and breakfast terrace are shared with our other guests.
A good fit for a couple who like a little extra room, two friends travelling together or a family of four. The cottage is on one level, with two steps at the entrance and an uneven stone path. There is no swimming pool.
