Inside, a king bed sits beneath exposed oak beams. There is a small writing desk, a wardrobe, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Linen, towels and a hairdryer are provided. Air conditioning helps on warmer nights.
This is a guest room rather than an apartment, so there is no kitchen. Breakfast is included, and you are welcome to use the shared garden and courtyard throughout the day. For dinner, wander into the village or ask us about the evening table at the house.
The room suits one or two adults looking for a quiet base. It is reached by a flight of stairs; there is no lift. The old house has low beams in places, so taller guests should take a little care.
